Posted by zardoz on Monday, February 4, 2008 8:44 AM

On PBS tonight "American Experience". Anthology, Documentary, History, Grand Central New York's Grand Central Terminal opened on Feb. 12., 1913.

Hopefully this show will be more worth your time than the Smash Lab show I alerted you to last week.Blush [:I]

....Boy, I'd like to catch that.  Thanks for the heads up.

Love data on big railroad excesses and beauty of a past era....Such as the GCT and Penn Station, etc....

....Yes a great historical recall of the problems created by all the steam engine trains and the creation of the new turn of the century GCT....A great presentation of it all.  Enjoyed it all.

Arrived home late from jury duty (yes, I was picked for a trial) and so I was only able to catch a small amount of the show...hope they air it again in the near future.
