Have they began movements to the west, Texas or somewhere?  My wife has spotted many reefers on the Lafayette Sub.  Not solid trains but blocks in regular trains.  The thing is, BNSF and UP do directional running on the Sunset and old MP tracks and we generally do not get to see both directions.

I saw around 10 Tropicana reefers heading west as part of a Union Pacific train on the Sunset Route through SE Arizona on the afternoon of January 5th, and this was not the first time I have seen them going through.

They run through Arizona regularly to the L.A. area.  They will usually be in a solid block at the front or in the middle of an intermodal that originates, or so I am told, on CSX at Atlanta.
