Book reccomendation

A few days ago, I went to the bookstore, and instinctively went to the railroad section. Once there, I happened upon Classic American Locomotives by Charles McShane. This is a reprint of a 1909 text on steam locomotive technology and is fascinating! I thought I knew something of steamers, but this book gets into details! I highly reccomend it.
