Hello, I'm a 16 year old guy from Detroit Michigan, and for Christmas this year, I thought it would be romantic for me and my girlfriend to take a train ride in a private room together somewhere in the midwest. Just a simple train ride to some big city down south or something. I've been looking around, but am having a hard time finding a train service that has the private rooms. I was wondering if anyone here could give me a hand in finding such, the cost, and all of the extras. I hope someone can help me! =) Thank you!

Take a look at www.amtrak.com. From there you can find what trains will be departing from your area, as well as accomodations. I will warn you: PRIVATE ROOMS ARE EXPENSIVE. Good luck in your search. You can't beat rails for romance.

Thanks, I just looked at Amtrak.com....I'm not seeing too much that goes through Michigan, nor am I finding anything with private accomodations =\ And yeah, I understand that Private Rooms are going to be expensive, but I think it will be well worth it =)
