TTFN -- but only FN
Posted by al-in-chgo on Monday, December 3, 2007 8:53 AM

Over the past several months, I've become aware that I am addicted to the Internet.  An average of six hours a day is really interfering with my "non-virtual" life.  About two hours of the six I've been spending on this and related TRAINS sites.

Not being one to do things by halves, I'm going to unplug for a while.  "Cold turkey" may not be possible, but these sites will be seeing a lot less of me in the near future.  It's a pity, but it's the only way I know how to do it.

When I can use the Net responsibly and more frugally, I full well intend to be back.

Please wish me well,

al smalling

And when you do come back, you'll have to spend a week just catching up on all of the arguing, posturing, trolling, flaming, complaining, speculating, pouting, passive/aggressive and assorted other behaviors.

There might even be some interesting train-related information (if you search long enough).

Enjoy your 'vacation'.
