Tehachapi to be shut down Nov 11-12

UP is replacing a bridge near Bena and will shut down the pass for 36 hrs to do the work.   Hopefully no one had plans to be there Sun Mon as its going to be very quiet, except the construction site.   Things should be extremely busy the day after and for a few days to follow.

Thx, Dblstack

I can just imagine the bawling (Whine & Jeez party at Harriman Center?) over this. Glad to see it can still happen. Imagine UP's track and bridge people will be in there workin' their butts off with no operating department/ dispatcher interference for the whole 36 hours.
Mudchicken Nothing is worth taking the risk of losing a life over. Come home tonight in the same condition that you left home this morning in. Safety begins with ME.... cinscocom-west
