The trains in your signature

Those of you who have those little trains in your signature, where do you get these? These are really cool.

Try a search for "train GIF".

Some are creative enough to do them themselves, too.  I've tried, but just don't have the perseverence or the right graphics tools.

IMO Frograil is the best for gifs.

Larry, of course you have the right graphics program! It's called MS Paint! Tongue [:P] I've drawn a few myself, and if anyone needs an MRL F45 or a CGW F3, just ask - They turned out great Wink [;)]

OK for simple graphics, but I don't think Paint will handle a GIF with animation.....

Actually, I've been hoping you'd put a train in your avatar.  That monster scares the heck out of me!Shock [:O]

Thanks to Chris / CopCarSS for my avatar.

I created mine from photos of an Atlas Dash 8 on their website.  I then flipped one but (and I bet you would have never found out if I didn't tell you) I messed up on the hand rails on the long hood at the cab.  There should be a long step.  A little crop, cut and paste and slap it on Photobucket and there you have it.

That's pretty clever, but how do you make them move like that?

Is that "mostly harmless" as in the description of Earth in "The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy"?

Find a GIF you like. Then click on "image preview". Right-click on the image, click "Properties", then copy the URL and then just put it in your signature like you normally would.

Errrr...at the risk of stirring the whole copyright issue again, you do realize that what you've described is a violation of Atlas' copyright, correct?
