Train watching in the Southern Tier
Posted by mersenne6 on Saturday, October 20, 2007 2:49 PM

I'm traveling from the west to Ithaca, N.Y. via the Southern Tier next week.  Does anyone have any recommendations as far as good spots to watch/photograph trains in the Southern Tier region?

A better idea of your time limits and a general idea of what you describe as the 'Southern Tier' will be appreciated.

If you're talking about the Southern Tier, the former Erie main to Buffalo, then here's a recommendation-don't bother.
