All right guys: when did the chessie awards start?

Even though I was not nominated for one, I have had one for 16 1/2 years.

Her name is Virginia Chessie, and she came from Newport News, VA. Self explanatory,
middle name.

SHE'S NOT BEEN DIPPED IN NUTTIN' (unless one of you unscrupulous people have been to my house taking pictures of my cat (and not my wife, cherokee woman).

If you use trains, you'd have to the the awards to "Trains Awards". That might upset the
one who thought this (awards) up.

Can I add a nominee for "Wise and Sage counsel"? I recommend CShaveRR. Carl may not have the number of posts but he always has great info!

Also I thought maybe these would be good as well:

Post Receiving Most emotional responses (other than Missouri's)
-Any relating to train whistles
-SLIC's Internet Train Hopper Wannabes

Best Train Related Story
-Ed's "Yuppie Train Hoppers" story from the Internet Train Hopper Wannabes thread

Funniest Subject line for a post as viewed by newbies or outsiders
-Silver Meteor Question
-A Quickie with Mookie
-Compensating grade for curvature (okay, my mind is really in the gutter today)[}:)]

Feel free to embellish.
