You joined today just to contribute this nugget and another similar sentiment in another thread? Terrific.

Just for laffs I'll keep an eye open to see if you and Ed are ever online here at the same time.

Thanks for joining today, Dweezil. Your contributions so far are priceless.

Have you been to the diner or coffee shop yet? I have a feeling you'll feel right at home there. Nice folks.

Your point of reference?

It's ironic, Ed, how you are suddenly bending over backwards to project the concept that you don't make personal attacks and instead are a warm and fuzzy person toward everyone. Everyone you like because they worship you, that is.

Yet you do bully people here, I'm not the only one to notice, and those posts are there for everyone to read. Against me, against Carl and others. And you keep baiting me, trying to drum up sympathy that somehow you've been wronged. Don't play martyr; no one has wronged you, unless me or others not responding to your "orders" here can be somehow twisted into an "attack" on you.

Above you linked to one of my posts about an incident at Rochelle. Sorry, but I'm not so cowardly as to claim my words "were taken out of context". I still stand by the principal message of that post -- that we're lucky to have such a fine railfan site like Rochelle, and we don't need any out-of-towners screwing it up for us regulars by standing on the ballast to take photos as trains go by. The town built a fine, covered viewing platform for people to use -- and it's only 20 feet away. We don't need the railroads to react to people standing close to the tracks -- by messing up the view with chain link fences to keep irresponsible railfans at a safe distance.  I may have gotten a little carried away, but I was pretty hot at the time and anyway, I'm not ashamed of my words.

I have tried to ignore you, but your immature nature to browbeat people and get the last word in just won't let it go. In this instance, I'd say what you call a troll is highly preferable to know-it-all blowhards who think these forums are their personal fifedom. Your sense of entitlement doesn't belong here, either.

Do what you want, Ed. You always have. But you and your toadies don't run these forums.

Please tell me you didn't join this forum just to spout off clever little tidbits of nothingness.

I think that was uncalled for.  My 2 cents [2c]

Just for a point of reference you don't run these forums either.  Neither do I: Bergie and Kalmbach do.

Warning:SoapBox [soapbox]

Come on people!  Is life that mundane that you have to bicker back and forth on a frickin' internet forum?  It's getting really, REALLY annoying to read the "so-and-so does this" followed by "so-and-so does that".  The comment was made earlier, I forget in which thread, that when new folks join this forum they may be 'scared away' or something by the Diner thread because it's 'too wierd' or whatever was said.  How do you think this and the 'Raid' thread sound?  They don't sound too intelligent to me!  Holy crap, they're more pointless than trying to swim the front crawl in 36" of snow.  You may thrash around but you don't go anywhere!  If everyone is so bent out of shape because of all the frivolous posts and the lack of restraint in posting: LOOK AT THESE TWO THREADS!

I'm calling on those who know who they are to stop the bickering, agree to disagree, and put this mess behind us.  I, personally, hold two (maybe three?) individuals in regard because of the knowledge they represent and what I and others can learn from them.  You all claim to want to go back to that atmosphere so let's do it.  A mentor once said to me: "Let change start with you."  Take that for what it's worth.

END THIS BS and MOVE ON!   Someone...please...set the example and knock it off or take it elsewhere.

This concludes my rant for the evening.Big Smile [:D]

Yes, I know I said I would no longer be posting on this thread but this whole thing has gotten WAY out of hand and we all (including me) need to "chill out" and settle down and get back to the business of enjoying our hobby of railfanning and posting interesting thoughts and observations on trains and related subjects and NOT attacking each other.  I can not promise I will totally refrain from making observations on certain societal things from time to time but I DO promise to do my best and to try hard not to offend anybody individually in the future (I hope I have not done so in the past, but who knows).  OK?

your a sorry lot up there, and the Union would be a lot better off if you all moved to Canada.

Besides being ...  a sycophant, and a perpetual whiner and bootlick?

So you ... just keep on posting your juvenile, petty crap, stick you heads back in the sand, and get out of the way.

You'r ... a waste of time."

None of these were addressed to me, so my reference is not personal, but I did note explosions of this type from this individual on a regular basis. I am tired of seeing it. This stuff goes on over and over again. There's nothing new on this thread about it, but it represents a pattern of behavior shown before, as represented above.

For the past five years, all I had to see was a thread with Futuremodal on it, and edblysard would show up, always, usually with nothing to say about the thread, just gratuitous insults. Usually with one or two "gang" members.  Futuremodal has moved on, but recent threads show that edblysard has simply picked out new victims to cyberstalk. Once in a while, he gets moderated, but it doesn't seem to change his behavior.

I don't envy the moderator one bit. What's he to do? It's the same people, over and over.

These threads demonstrate that its not the bored teenagers that are the problems on Trains forums, it's the adults that act like them -- and some of them work for railroads.

Read what I wrote again, Dan. What's "uncalled for"? What'so offensive about this post? What part isn't true? Or -- are you so biased you are reading what you want to read into those simple words? I'm not allowed to inform new members about the fun-loving people in the CS and diner?

You already said you don't run these forums, either. I may be part of the problem, and so are you. Now let's see if you move on, as you advise everyone else to do.
