I saw this video a few years ago, and I really think that it was contrived. I doubt that what you see in this film clip actually happened.

Actually, it caught me in the head.  Prior to being hit, I wanted to be a school teacher . . . but as soon as it landed, I decided I was going to be an attorney . . .

This surely is contrived.  I saw that right forward play for Milan back in '69.  He was their second top scorer.  The coach always said he wasn't sure about which side of the street he liked best...if you know what I mean.

I posted a link to this thread with the hope of introducing some much needed levity into the model railroad forum next door.  Talk about a few wet rags over there!!  There were several "Well..!!", and harrumphs, and "This is inappropriate and against the rules."  At least you guys know how to yuck it up a bit.

sheeeeeesh....  Some of those guys need to do some weeding or polish their chrome.

Its set in Spain. 5'5" gauge.

Here's a wrecked train like the one in the video. http://www.greatestcities.com/8254pic/930/CP20930.jpg/Spain_Train.JPG

Apparently this is a serial.  In each "episode" the old lady's incompetence almost gets the kid killed. "javi y lucy" - Google Search

The train in the video was a Spanish RENFE Talgo, I think. You can drive the very same ones in Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006.

Yes there are other You Tube vids where the old lady kicks the kid like a soccer ball, such as

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chIBqIZlobY&mode=related&search=

which makes me conclude the train video is faked -- but heart stopping nonetheless, and note that the kid's arm moves just before it is kicked off the tracks.

Ok, I honestly don't think that anyone would actually kick a baby like that. Seriously guys, come on.

I can't believe anyone actually thought it was real.

Here's the complete episode: YouTube - Lucy and Javier.

Grandma gets on the tracks afterwards and makes an obscene gesture at the train..
