Mook, we love you and your questions. Your quest for Rail knowledge opens up alot of great discussion. You are a cool cat! I'm just guessing, but Waukesha is an engine manufacturer (not locomotive type engine, but, engine as in diesel gen sets) It may be referring to shutting down a generator to reduce diesel emitions in a tunnel. Like I said, just a shot in the dark. I remember reading something about that in the very dry GCOR. Mook, you read GCOR once through.....I wanna know who was forcing you to read it! I'm gonna kick their ***! I don't know of anybody that would read GCOR on their own free will. Hhehehehehe.....Ken
