It is interesting, but too small for these old eyeballs to figure it out. Can you post a bigger version somehow?

Mike,

I noticed the photo was pretty small, my old eyes had a hard time also. I have a little larger version in my signature field, this may help! ( The new Trains.com format does not appear to allow a .jpg or .bmp link to my website from this reply/quote field?)

Oh, I had to VOTE for Mike's photo this time, the night shot just gets your attention!

You know, you guys just have to make choosing hard enough for me to pick, eh? Bergie, you have to be commended for contrast. However, I must say that since any steam outing is now "rare," I went with Mike's fine pic of  MILW 261. Mike's pic is pretty surreal ...

Mike, I would have posted the shot with the fireworks in the background. But the shot with the bridge in the background is definately a "keeper"!Wink [;)]

-Hey Mike: I loved your shot enough to also vote for It as well this time EXCELLENT PHOTOS FROM YOU BOTH, ALMOST BEYOND COMPARE FROM ANY OF YOUR PAST VOLUMES! I am also intrested by the very different perspective, that picture of the Rochelle RR.Park displays. I would have loved to have been in that cab as well, but I will have to settle for doing so in SIMulators, or dreams, since a road trip to visit the R.RR.Park is quite difficult when you live in another country these days (post 9-11), and by rail? ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE !!!...Anyway, would someone be able to explain the significance of the U.P.loco's headcodes that have the Y in them?

According to Dave, the UP engineer on that locomotive, the "Y" is for yard engine. He also said they ran out of road numbers so hence the "Y".
