While no one would fail to sympathize with you, I don't think this is the place to promote your religion. It amazes me how a rational person would think that asking strangers to "pray" to a "god" would change anything. If there were a god who could control what happens, why would asking strangers to "pray" to that "god" change anything. I think you would be better served by making sure he gets the best medical care possible.
