Why did the editorial staff print the railfan being un-American relating to security and yet in the same issue print a full colour location map of 96 major classification yards in a magazine with a worldwide circulation??

Why print the magazine at all (or maintain this website) if railfanning is truly Un-American? Obviously because having asked the question they think the answer should be "no."
