Wisconsin & Southern HM19
Posted by fuzzybroken on Monday, October 24, 2005 7:38 AM
Wednesday I went out and found the HM19, with GP38s 3804 and 3803, at Ackerville. I got some great shots from the WIS-164 overpass, and ended up chasing the train down to Germantown before heading back to work. Pictures can be seen at:

Enjoy!

A nice classic shot at Richfield, especially.

Thanks! And thanks for looking! I realized after uploading all the new pages that I need to update my logo image with the one with a transparent background... But that's a minor fix...

Some Nice shots Mark!!! I've been wanting to catch a train at Ackerville sometime, be it CN or WSOR(although WSOR is perfered), and these shots really enspire me to!! Please excuse the fact that I know little about the layout of the Milwaukee Suburb Railroad lines, but is this the same CN line that runs through Duplainville?

Noah,
Yes it is. It's the line from Fond du Lac to Chicago, called the Waukesha Subdivision, radio 161.295 (CN).

Noah, I forgot to mention the WS frequencies:160.575 & 161.145.

In Sussex (north of Duplainville) the UP Adams Sub ( either 160.89 or 161.04) crosses over the CN main.

The CP frequency for north (west) of Milwaukee is 161.520.

The CN also uses 160.260 for yard work, like around Waukesha.

I kinda figured the WSOR one, that is the same all the way around the WSOR System. But thanks for the other Fequencies too. I gotta write all these down somewhere easy to find now.....
