Off Topic: Anyone know what's going on next door at MRR Forum?

Hi Crew,

For the past 2 days or so, everything over there is locked and I had not read any announcements of an website upgrade. Last week (end of September 2005) there were "whack-jobs" posters on the Model Railroader Forum that were continously making vulgar posts.

Bergie deleted these guys and I'm wondering if the locked forum is related to last week's incidents. I e-mailed Bergie asking, but he hasn't replied yet.

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

I was wondering about that too. I thought maybe I had been locked out. Then I got to thinking. What had I done? I don't use vulgar language here. Had I forgotten Bergie's birthday? That must be it. Happy Birthday Bergie, whenever it is. Now, please release me.

Terry Thompson's post about the problems on the forums is causing a reevaluation of continued support for the forums. At least temporarily things are shut down to minimize the "editorial" distraction of vulgar postings, flaming and attacks on individuals and manufacturers going on here. This may be a good time to reevaluate our own behavior as well.

G'day, Y'all,
Where is Terry's post? Also, AntonioF45, did anything come of your plan to buy a shortline railroad that I read about almost exactly a year ago?
