Railfans detained for photographing trains on public property

A lot of the time, cops and those that have been given way too much authority after 9/11 have nothing better to do than pu***heir weight around, and try to win brownie points from their supervisors by jumping on any little thing they see that they can claim "looked out of place". I for one agree with everyone else that before it's over, we're going to end up living in a police state where everything you do is watched and controlled, and being able to take pictures of trains or anything else will be outlawed-unless you have permission to do so... <br />9/11 opened the door and gave our government the power to do what it's been wanting to do for years-tighten up and control us in every way they can think of. <br />
