My wife is whenever we go out of town to see a steam engine say the 3985 we stay the night so we can see it arrive and depart. She isnt much into diesels more into steam the romance of the rails all that stuff. And if I ahve had a hard day she says why dont you go out and run some trains and relax. she fully supports the hobby and listens to me gab on about adhesion factors wheel configurations and such. I remeber one time my grandpa pointed to his bigboy model on the shelf and asked her if she knew what it was and she replied yup its a bigboy 4-8-8-4 with a centipede tender. His mouth nearly hit the floor. Seh wants us all to head to Cheyenne and catch an exscurson some time. and she isnt going to sell off my collection when I die.
