Here is a link to a web cam in the Netherlands; it's an excellent hi-res image. I like the layout of the crossing protection.

Anybody care to share any of your favorite web cams?
Zardoz - this is the original camera. There used to be one at the corner (stage left) that showed the street headed north. Much better view of everything. Unfortunately...

I spend considerable time on the Deshler cam(s) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgtIsXxii6s. There are two - one pointed at the diamond itself, and one that is usually turned to see what's going on elsewhere. I've been to Deshler several times, so it's familiar to me.
Deshler is pretty busy - the EW two track main carries much of the traffic between the east coast and Chicago, and many trains make a turn south (and a few north) there as well.
As with the Netherlands cam, there is a running chat going on, often informative. Everyone is waiting with bated breath for the diamond replacement.
I used to watch the Mierlo-Hout cam when it had it's own site. It is fun to watch. The bells would tip you off that a train was approaching. At night (their time) you'll see a lot of freight.

tree68 At night (their time) you'll see a lot of freight.
During local daytime freight trains are placed in slots between passenger traffic in a way not to interfere with them.
During the night there is only a fraction of daytime passenger traffic leaving much more slots for freight.Regards, Volker

I had the Deshler cam in the background for 90 minutes, one train.
The Mierlo-Hout web cam has eight passenger trains per hour plus occasional freight trains. What I have watched these are per direction: two commuters stopping there, on regional going through, and one ICE train (Amsterdam to Franfort/Main)
According to their chat trains can be expected during daytime every hour at 04, 15, 18, 25, 33 45, 48 en 55 min, when on time.Regards, Volker
OK, updated Flagstaff webcams:
West: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVu7mNUhHe4
East: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aNl9W_qaAk
Also, La Plata MO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l06NXHeXIs8
And for fun, San Juan Capistrano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjwH4nL6N-U
La Plata Amtrak Station has the SW Chief and lots of BNSF freight and an occasional UP coming through, round the clock, San Juan Capistrano has Surfliners and Metrolink all day long and usually a couple of BNSF freights in each direction overnight. Flagstaff cams are at the Amtrak station and also has the SW Chief and gobs of BNSF traffic, round the clock.
VOLKER LANDWEHRI had the Deshler cam in the background for 90 minutes, one train.
And I've seen four trains in ten minutes. You just never know.
