Here are some photos from 2004.

Here is the UP Roadrailer train running a couple of days after starting in late July 2004 in West Allis, WI.

Side-by-Side running these UP Coal trains run a race east bound on the triple track mainline east of North Platte, NE in August

The EMD Environmentally friendly demonstrators head eastbound at Gibbon Jct in Nebraska August 2004

The Chicago Skyline is the backdrop for Milwaukee Road #261 departing for the first trip of the Grand Excursion in June 2004. Taken from Roosevelt Road bridge

Here #261 is exiting the old Milwaukee Road bridge at Sabula, IA across from Savanna, IL. in June 2004

Here the Milwaukee Road #261 rests after its "Homecoming Trip" from Minneapolis, MN to Milwaukee, WI. Here in the evening the locomotive sits near the Milwaukee Amtrak Depot in June 2004

I have photos but no scanner to show them to you guys[:(][banghead]
Maybe I'll find a way
"There is nothing in life that compares with running a locomotive at 80-plus mph with the windows open, the traction motors screaming, the air horns fighting the rush of incoming air to make any sound at all, automobiles on adjacent highways trying and failing to catch up with you, and the unmistakable presence of raw power. You ride with fear in the pit of your stomach knowing you do not really have control of this beast." - D.C. Battle [Trains 10/2002 issue, p74.]

how can i put a photo on this forum

When you go to post a reply, click the button under format that shows the arrow pointing to the mountains button to insert an image and then put in the web link for the picture. It will show up with [ img][/img] (without the space between the bracket and the first i like I have in the example) and then you put the link in between the two. Pretty simple once you find it, I couldn't figure it out at first either [;)]

But what if my photos are in "My Pictures" and not at a website. What then? Is there a way to still show these?

I must do a quick edit here just to say these are excellent photos!

Where is the best place to "store" photos online (free online photo "buckets")? I have photos I want to upload to a server, but don't know where the best place is. Where is everyone else storing theirs?

Dougal: What building are you standing on for some of those shots, in Phillipsburg NJ?

This is my favorite of the bunch:

This one I actually got $30 for having published in Classic Trains letters section (my 15 minutes of fame is almost all used up now)
