While the folks in California and the Pacific northwest have been getting pounded, we here in Texas have remained relatively mild and very dry.  That is what usually happens down here during La NIna.  All the storms pass to the north of us.  It is currently 58 degrees here as I write this. We have a shot for some rain from this latest California storm.
