CN runs very heavy trains between Chicago and Toronto yet I've never seen them use distributed power on this route.. Likewise I've never seen CP use distributed power on its trains between Toronto and Detroit... Why is DP not used on some routes?
Are the trains being run at the maximum length for the territory? If so distributed power is not needed.
