Empire Builder June 11-75th Anniversary Stop in Milwaukee

The June 11th Westbound Empire Builder consist will include Amtrak 10031, the last of the former GN Great Domes, and (probably) the Amtrak Office Car. These are on as part of the Empire Builder 75th Anniversary Celebration. Amtrak reps and state and local officials will speak at numerous stops along the way.

The 3:30PM stop in Milwaukee will include remarks from Dave Gunn and WI Secretary of Transportation Frank Busalacchi.

Thought this might be of interest to some of the many forum members located in the vicinity of the EB route and offers a somewhat different photo op. I will be lurking in the area with a plan to burn a few train shots on a newly acquired Rebel.

I'll be there Jay, possibly getting it in transit and at the depot.
