chefjavier/Awesome! :  We get it already.  You don't like CSX.  We get it.  There is a lot of info on this forum, about a myriad of things railroad related.  You're really doing yourself a disfavor by dwelling on your CSXsucks issue over and over.

Move on to bigger and better things.  Read, learn, ask questions.  Why limit yourself to beating the same old dead horse?  There's so much more out there.  How 'bout it?

Thanks to Chris / CopCarSS for my avatar.

Tsk!  And the guys over on the model forums bugged Bergie to remove the smilie that spelled out, "Dito!"  Now we have nothing to use.

But, ditto.

This is a issue that can be argued, but CSX is a safe railroad, there has been some bad derailments, spills, and etc. CSX is a great company, safer then KCS, but some may argue that its unsafe.

compairing derailments and safety is like trying to compair apples to ornanges... derailments are either human factor (employee made a mistake) or mechanical/equipment failer... the standered that railroad use to raite safety is how many employees get hurt in a givin year per hours worked... check out the Harriman award listings for a ranking of the gold silver and bronz... granted this list is incompete but as long as i have been at csx.. we have always been 3rd untill 06 based on the award reqirments...

so even at worker on the job injurys..csx still wasnt last...

csx is no more unsafe then any other railroad in opporation today.. the job itself is a dangours line of work ..and even more so if your not paying attention to what your doing..

people that "bash" csx are only upset becouse they where either wronged by them (employees that got screwed out of pay which i have been over the years) civilans that got hurt due to any number of resons and lost the court case.. or foamers that just cant let go....
