Chard Walker honored by BNSF on Cajon Pass
Posted by diningcar on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 1:57 PM
A well deserved and appropriate honor is posthumously bestowed upon Chard Walker. The former Santa Fe Agent/Operator who worked most of his career on Cajon Pass will have a CP (Control Point) at MP 60.2 on the new triple track TRANSCON named WALKER. He had documented Santa Fe and UP traffic on the Pass and was the source for many photos and stories of operations which occurred during his tenure.

That's a nice touch.  Chard would have been pleased.
