Thank You very very much BNSF !   This is a very important honor for such a grand gentleman.   He will be grealy missed by me.

A well deserved and appropriate honor is posthumously bestowed upon Chard Walker. The former Santa Fe Agent/Operator who worked most of his career on Cajon Pass will have a CP (Control Point) at MP 60.2 on the new triple track TRANSCON named WALKER. He had documented Santa Fe and UP traffic on the Pass and was the source for many photos and stories of operations which occurred during his tenure.
