All they are required to carry is there FRA Certified Enginers Certificate. DL has nothing to do with operating a train. That is almost like doing the exact opposite. You getting pulled over and the cop askes you for your DL, and you give him your engineers card due to not having a DL. If does not work in conjunction.</p>
