I'm so PCD about trains, I have to enjoy most of them, steam, diesel, electric, maintainence of way. A lot of them started out as sets offerred by Lionel, MTH, K Line, and Atlas.

If I like a railroad, I will have their engines.  Started out years ago running: SF, UP. SP,KCS,WP,  then went Midwest:FRISCO,  KATY, MOPAC, CNW, later up north: GN,, SOO, NP, M&STL, then i headed east to coal fields: PENNSY, NORFOLK, NORFOLK SOUTHERN, ERIE, NORFOLK SOUTHERN,  headed up northeast to: NYC, NH, over the border: CP.  So now its time to head down the Atlantic coast and enjoy a few more railroads, then probably specialty road and small branch lines.

I also like tinplate LIONEL LINES AND TINLATE TRADITIONS by MTH.

I just recently  added the Plolar Express set in American flyer and run it on the carpet up stairs, thoroughly enjoy running it.
