I'm new here so I hope you don't mind if I reach out with a major problem. And I'm hoping some of you guys have got some wisdom on this problem because I sure don't. Long and short of it -- My BNSF 3782 LionChief will not run. Now here's the curious thing -- when the power is turned on and the loco is on the track, the wheels spin like it's speeding but the locomotive is not moving and it's making a grinding sound as the wheels spin in place. Now mind you, I don't have the remote on. All I did is plug in the power and the wheels start spinning -- just the back wheels.
Any clues out there? The locomotive is just a little bit beyond 1 year old -- past warranty, unfortunately. I'm at a loss. And it just started doing this the other day. HELP!
