I'm new to this forum. I found a 1950's Marx train set that I had as a child. It has 10 pieces of track, locomotive and "coal" car with the transformer. Need guidance on what this may be worth. Thanks.
Is it tinplate?
I had a set that was 0-27 tinplate. Very noisy when running. Mine was older than 1950, maybe sometime in the 1940's. I gave it all to a nephew for his son.
Little more info and maybe a picture or two might help.
Google marx train set. Lots of info out there. Marx made quite a few variations. i just looked.
An ebay search for what you have might work. Look for what it sold for not the asking price.
