Can someone please give me a little help. I added a new Atlas Custom Line Turnout to create a siding. Everything worked perfectly until I attempted to operate the layout today. I turned on my Lenz DCC system only to find I have a direct short. I removed all the rolling stock, and disconnected the DCC system from the track. I used an Ohm meter on the layout, and sure enough there is a dead short. I inspected all the track work, and wiring. I found no problems, nothing on the rails. The only change was the addition of the turnout. Could I have caused a problem when I soldered the rail joiners ? I don't have the layout broken down in separated isolated sections with circuit breakers, or additional boosters.
Thanks for your help.
