'Go to last post' feature

This feature doesn't seem to work. The small arrow --> button should take you to the last post of a given thread, however clicking on it only takes you to the beginning of the thread.

I find it an annoyance especially with threads that are multiple pages and have many entries.

Am I the only one experiencing this? If not, could this be fixed?

Edit --- Slight correction (my apologies), but clicking on the arrow takes you to the first post on the final page of a thread. In my mind it SHOULD take you to the very last post.

I think you've misinterpreted what is meant by, "Last."  It actually means Last Page, not Last Post.

You might want to try it on one of the sub-forums, where each entry is a thread, not a post to a single thread.  Clicking the, "Last," arrow will put you on the page with the oldest threads.  Likewise, if you are looking for the "last" post on a specific thread, be aware that you WILL get the whole page.  A quick application of cursor to page slider will take you to the last post.

True, you can scroll down to the last post from the final page, however in long threads with long posts, this is an unwieldy and time consuming method to get to the last post. For instance, the current thread "HO vs. N" has some long very posts, and scrolling to find the beginning of last one is not much fun.

I know that there other forum software that allow the user to got to the very last post. I was just wondering if that could be implemented here.

Only going to the last page, not the last post, is a variance with commonly accepted forum protocols.

Additionally, when one makes a post to a thread, one is not taken to the display of the post you just made....again at variance with the commonly accepted forum protocols.
