How to you get "unhiched" or "unsubscribe" from a topic?

When one posts to a particular subject, it becomes linked to that posters history, and every time one uses the "my forums" link those posts are automaticly included, but frankly I've lost interest in several of the subjects that continue to pop up near the top, so I want to know if theres any way to break this link, or "unsubscribe" from the topic so when I do a "my Forums" search they would no longer be included. Can this be done?

you could hunt all your posts down edit them where you don't recieve replies,.
or you can search yourself and select your posts and deselect recive replies
