Why doesnt the new forum activate your links? They are all just plain text.

It's because the way the old forum encoded links in the text is not the same as used by the new forums. It would take a not exactly trivial programmign task to edit ever post that included links and change the tags to match this forum software. At least we have the old messages saved - just highlight, right click, and copy-paste to use the URL. Might even be the ability in Firefox or with an extension to highlight a URL, right-click, and display the page directly.
