Well the initial post was in May of last year, but I'd be interested in any new info. Been trying to find a good book on this line, I'm surprised and a little dismayed that theirs so little in print on it. Kinda like finding out nothings ever been written about the Durango & Silverton here in the USA.

Have you seen the book "The Iron Sherpa - Vol. 1 Darjeeling & Its Remarkable Railway the History" by Terry Martin? Its supposed to be an updated and expanded version of his book "Railway to Heaven" and is the first of a 2 volume set. A bit pricey though.
