UP dispatchers

  • Can anyone tell me how many and where the UP dispatchers are located?? I believe they have several dispatcher centers..

  • I believe that there is one in Sacramento and in Kansas City. I do know BNSF has an ex-Santa Fe dispatcher spot in Topeka, Kansas. Or in that area anyways. UP does have hidden dispatch spots though.

  • The main UP dispatch office is in Omaha with a smaller office in Spring, TX. They have a couple dispatchers located in S California, Chicago, N Platte, Little Rock and Kansas City that just handle the local terminal areas.

  • I think they have some dispatchers at West Colton, CA.

  • sadly the up took all the chicago dispatchers to omaha when they took over the cnw. commuter control is just that. they just try to control the commuters but dispatchers are in omaha.
