Hi guys,
Whereas I like the new look site I do have some grouses about a couple of points.
Firstly I can no longer access newswire stories. I don't subscribe to any of your magazine titles but I have purchased a good number of the Classic Trains book titles here in the UK. I also have most of the Kalmbach publications on railroading. It seems pretty mean to me to exclude the newswire features from non subscribers to magazines. They were always accesible before after all.
Secondly you guys still seem to be living in the past. Why the optimisation for 800 x 600 screen size? With bigger and better monitors cheaply available hardly anyone still uses this format. Even my old CRT 17" Monitor displays well at 1024 x 768.
Well that's the grouses out of the way. On the plus side I really enjoy the photo competition feature and the web cam is a great feature too. It's a shame you can't make it a little bigger and either include other cams or at least links to them.
Geoff
