Register to become a member at "Train-Sim.com" Link: http://train-sim.com/
And it will give you train-sim add-ons or locomotives/rolling stock etc. to download onto your game!!!! The problem I had with that is some of my locos download and some don't! What is with that??

The version you get should be the updated one, but you can check at the official site http://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsimulator/.
There are a number of good sites for free stuff. Train-Sim is by far the best out there. If you have a problem with any of the downloads, you should ask (or look first) in the forums. There is plenty of help for novices and experience persons.
Train-Sim also has a great listing of the payware route companies. There are some truely spectacular pay and free routes. Just about where ever you want to run and whatever you want to run on it is out there somewhere. Rollins Pass is available on Train-Sim. It is the D&RGW (now UP) route through Moffat Tunnel.
