More Free MSTS stuff from Canadian Pacific

  • There are now 3 locomotives, including an SD90Mac (by Streamlines and Maple Leaf Tracks), a bunch of cars (from 40 foot refers to intermodal sets), and even a route (a section of Kicking Horse Pass by Maple Leaf Tracks). This is in addition to the 3 heritage passenger trains on the site.

The route is an update of a section of the payware route. It comes with a couple of activities, another locomotive (AC4400) and 3 railcars. The activities are one east and one west (one is in the summer, the other winter).

All the items have a self installer so there is nothing to do but download and click it.

Download sizes are manageable even for dialup (and if you get cut off and restart, it picks up where it left off - really nice for the route section which is 43Mb).

    Thank You CP!

  • The Holiday Train download was pretty cool, too. Definately sending CPR a check for the food pantry as a way of saying "thank you"

I down loaded the SD90, but I couldn't retrieve it......how did you do it? [?]

  • Did you run the installation file, and make sure the paths were correct?
They've come out with more, including a GG20B (Which I can't get to work) a Sperry car (Which I hear the sound is bad on) The RSD-17 (Which is missing the short hood for me, a problem I seem to have too often..) and my namesake engines, the H16-44 and H24-66.
