Anyone here seen the movie The Train? I was thinking a great train simulator route would be the Vaires - Zweibrucken route the train took in the movie, including the turnaround from Metz to Rive-Reine. The train would, naturally, be The Train, with AI equipment being whatever was seen in the background... any feedback?

What a fantastic film....not only for the trains but also for the subject matter. I saw it first in its theatrical release back in the 1960's. Turner Classic Movies on TV (cable) shows it about once a year; website: http://www.turnerclassicmovies.com/. I think you might also need to get information on the French railroads since most of the route you describe is in France. Good luck.
