http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/a friend notified me that the computer sim "Railworks 2" is on sale for $8.74, so I figured hey why not. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but just wondering if anyone else has any experience with the game. Used to play Trainz by Auran but have been out of the loop for awhile...

It is a very detailed program, but once you get the hang of the controls - it can be fun. It's very European leaning, though, with a few well-noted American offerings, but most are European trains and routes. There is a large variety of add-on content that can be purchased from the Steam store for it - and there is a new version coming out shortly (which is a free upgrade for those purchasing RailWorks 2)
