but, I went right through the train. Any idea why this happend?

  • Probably one of the many quirks of MSTS, such as tracks dissapearing beneath the locomotive, cars uncoupling for no reason(even on "invincible mode"), bridges vanishing, stuff like that.
  • It must have been the Hogwart Express [:o)][:D]

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

  • That happens to me also. Especially when I have a big train, the track disapears, horn freezes, etc.

I did see a coach that was red. Hmmmmmmmm, maybe it WAS the Hogwart Express
  • I have had switches be thrown without it show on the track monitor and the switch aid and the last time it happemed it went to a siding the atopped at a dead end with a concrete wall.

  • Sounds like a glitch in the programming. My main problem is going into a game and having the brakes not work for a minute or so. Kinda kills your no operational error streak

  • ok

    1) None of the objects are really solid objects to you unless its part of your train or loose consists. So the pop out of no where train ... was most likely an AI train that's time for it to start was when you were at the station, but on the wrong track.

    2) Things uncouple by themselves because of bad coding on crossovers and nbridges etc.

    3) The horn will freeze when you are in an external view for too long or not have enough memory.

    4) The switches were either accidentaly hit (G key) or lined for the route to be used in the editor.

    5) if you start an activity when you are moving, and the brakes are on 0%, you must hit the semi-colan key, then you can operate them.... its a glitch.

10000 feet and no dynamics? Today is going to be a good day ...

  • Thank you for all the great advice on the problems next time I run that activity I'll try it. thank you

  • Almost as bad as when you blast right through a mountainside.
