  • First off I have downloaded the Dash 9 replacement form www.mltdownloads.net and it looks great! But i was wondering, Is there any other sites that have add on things for free to download, and are there any other MSTS downloads form www.mltdownloads.net. And what is a good store bought add on for MSTS? I have Railyard but noting else.

    Thanks

  • I have the MSTS and I also have Train Dispatcher. Love them both. My model railroad the Eastern RR is model after the PRR track between Philadelphia and New York City.
I use the file in Train Dispatcher between these two city all the time. The MSTS is great also use it all the time
  • An excellent free add-on is the Ohio Rails add-on (Search for OHIO RAILS on the net. I am not at my usual computer to look up the download site). Very detailed with lots of activities. It also has both steam and early deisels to run on the routes. It takes a while to get all the parts downloaded but it is worth the wait. It is also one which is very easy to install (rather than having to insert it yourself like some of them). The tutorials for the route are very good too. There is even a riverboat to drive (for the car floats!). Really nice.

The Metro East download is nice too. It is much smaller. Lots of commuter stuff. Nice change of pace from freight.
