MSTS Empire Possible?

Do any of you guys think that an "empire" on MSTS is possible? What I mean is that it is possible to have tons of different routes and locomotives? I bet no because it would clog the computer's memory, but is it really possible?

That sounds pretty close to what I've been trying to do. I'm trying to take a train on MSTS coast to coast without stopping. Maybe we could help each other somehow.[tup]

Well I have 15 non defualt routes, 981 engines and 1070 freight cars

Only 3 of the route and around 250 of the engines and cars were pay, the rest were free.
