I have asked this question before but a long time ago. When I put Rail Simulator into my computer the screen for putting in the numbers for the game comes up. After I put the numbers in and hit next nothing happens. It dosen't install at all. No warning signs come up and tell me something's wrong. Nothing comes up at all. So can somebody please help me on how to fix this problem so I can play the game?
Need more info to get to the root of your issue. The first thing I would try is to run a few free anti spyware/malware programs to see if you are infected. This is not Anti-Virus programs. Some programs that I use in getting rid of some bad issues are: Ad Aware Free edition, Super Anti-Spyware free, and Malwarebytes free edition, Spybot S&D free. Run those and get rid of anything they show in the results section. The issue of not being able to install a program can be many things. When you run (install) your program, open "Task Manager" (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and see if your computer shows it still running or is it ended. What OS are you using? Win98? WinXP? WinVista? Hope this gets you started.
Thanks,
Jim

I tried all of this above and it still dosen't even. I even shutdown the anti-virus on my computer and it still dosen't work. Would this game have a factor of getting into other files of Train Simulator. I have alot of downloaded files in my computer and I'm wondering if that might be an issue?
I use a Vista. I heard that RS has a problem with type of system. Also what you said about the virus check, I did that and I tried everything you said but it still dosen't work. Dose having a Vista make this a problem. Also there's more thing I forgot to tell you. When I got Vista, RS was the first program I installed and it did install. I added a new sound pack to the game. I didn't like the sound pack so I uninstalled RS. I got rid of the downloads and everything alse that belonged to it. After I did that I tried reinstalling it back in so the sound pack wasn't in there. The problem I told you about above started from this problem. It still dosen't want to install after the number password. This is where I'm stuck. Sorry I forgot to tell you. Can you or someone else help me on this problem. Thanks.
