I recently changed from Windows 2000 to Windows XP, and since that weird things have been happening with Train Simulator, like not being able to hear the horn/whistle outside the cab. I am thinking of reinstalling MSTS. My question is, if I reinstall MSTS, will my add-ons and activities I created still be on MSTS?
If this helps, my copy of MSTS is not in the default directory. (The "F" drive)
When you un-install and then re-install MSTS, custom-made routes will still be there, but none of the activities unless you select "save custom activities" or whatever it says.
If you want to be sure nothing gets erased, you could backup all of your content and burn it to a CD. Then once you re-install MSTS just copy and paste it back into the Train Simulator files.
