How do I get the yardview for trainsimulator?

It already comes installed, but it can only be used in yards, such as Whitefish, or maybe Cutbank, places like that.

There is an add on available on Train-sim that makes the yard view available on any tile. You need to search the file library for it (I don't remember the file name).

Otherwise, the yard view is only available if the route builder added it to the route.

I downloaded that file and put it on a town in my rattlesnake dessert route. When I went to play it ,the area I put the camera view deleted the hole town. Do you know what I did wrong?

The best place to ask would be the forums over on train-sim. More than likely the person who made the add-on will be the one answering you.

You can download yrdcam40.zip from the train-sim file library. Let me know if you need detailed instructions on the use of it, and I can send them to you.
