Just wondering, do all the "deluxe" versions have "ALL" the updates or service packs with them? (like those sold on Ebay)
Also, somewhere I had read the 2006 version wasn't as good, and folks should stay with the 2004 version.... Ideas? Probably my older computer should stick with the older version anyway. Is it "hard" on graphics and such? OR will the MSTS be easier?

Oh, I didn't mean buying a 'used' version. I would only buy a new one. I did do a DEMO search for Trainz 2004, and found that I can get a DEMO to try. Maybe I should try that. I also noted that there IS a lot of support for MSTS too. Man, I didn't think this was going to be that much of a choice. I realize that both games can be had for less than $20 each AND they are both DIFFERENT .types of sims... As a matter of fact, MSTS can be bought for less than $10 at Walmart. However, I have to buy it online. My local store does not have it. Too old I assume. I also see that MSTS 2 is coming out. I KNOW my computer won't handle that. I like MS products as I already have MS Flightsims and they work fine, also here again, I don't have MS X (newest version) because my computer is too old. Maybe I will go ahead and order MSTS, and also download the Trainz DEMO. MSTS does NOT have a DEMO... at least that I could find.

Thanks for the advice! I did download the DEMO for 2004 version, and I am giving that a test run now which I have found interesting. I also DID buy MSTS too (No DEMO for this sim). I realize that from what I have read, these are two different train simulators and I am not even going to try to compare them anymore. Probably like comparing Microsoft Flight simulator with the IL2 Sturmovik WWII simulator. Yes, both are flying, yet both do different things. yes I have BOTH installed on my computer too.
