possibly missing my MSTS editor software?

Hey guy, I recently re-purchased MSTS, and after toying around some, I wanted to add a few locomotives, rolling stock, etc. Went searching for the editor.. wasn't where its supposed to be..
(btw, the game is version 1.0, and the editor link is supposed to be on the 'shortcut to launcher icon' pop up.)
I even went and dug through the entire game file.. and came up empty handed..
was it possible the software didn't get added into my copy? Or did the setup place them somewhere else on my system?
thanks for all the help!
Loyd L.
P.s. I finally made it down the Pass in one piece.. didn't have to big hole the train once.. lol

Hello there[8D]
Did you try this[?]
1. Try to reinstall the game. Make sure you select "Full Installation" on the menu that comes up.
2. My editors are at: Start ---/ Progams---/Microsoft Train Simulator---/ Editors and Tools. You can also make a shortcut on your desktop so you don't have to dig around for it.
3. Search?
That's all i can come up with now...
Congrads on your safe descent. You have to use all brakes to keep that thing from running away.
Hope this helps.

appreciate the reply.. I finally found it.. mislocated.. but found :)
I got the Big Boy running tonight.... absolute beauty of a locomotive.. hats off to the NALW on the model..
Yah.. Marias is a short grade.. but rather aggressive.. if you aren't at 100% with your dynamics, and locomotive brakes from the crest down.. you're a goner.. :) no way you can jockey the train brakes enough to keep her on track..

I've had MSTS for a long while, and just got around to downloading rolling stock from train-sim.com. I opened the Editors and Tools, but COULDN'T find the SERVICE EDITOR and CONSIST EDITOR to add the new stuff. Where would these be, and if I have to download a update, where would that be too???
Thanks for any help.
Take care[:)]
All the Way!

I get to consist editor like this:
1. Open activity editor.
2. Select "New Activity", use default for name
3. You a route map- right click on any point on the line
4. Select "Place Consist"
5. Select consist or create a new one in the window that comes up.
6. After you're done save consist, but not the activity.
Now, there is another way through service editor- it shold be on the right hand side in menu next to the map.
Hope this is somewhat helpfull.[:)][:p]
